It is a disgrace you went ahead letting Wandsworth abuse more their way of raising revenue.They have plenty of funds 200 Million. So there is no excuse the neglect of Elliott School for the past 3 decades with superficial refits- 
They just do not win votes from kids going to that school, so why the now change to a academy- and their type of voter /& their friends in Ark & St James. Mayfair-  
Why should school Playing Fields be used in this way?
When sport is essential & so too open space & more green not less?
Why also has Wandsworth not attached planing permision, so whoever of their friends buy this cheap land , they can come back with a crazy scheme-
As you are keen on public relations etc, i feel this will haunt the next election not just for Putney Tories ( not your worry as an unelected official) but for many who let self interest & a disregard for truth & fair play , to prevail, there shall be problems.
I suppose the greed & bombay style politics we have at Wandsworth is more to come, thanks to your lack of foresight & probable true investigation of ALL the facts. 
As probably orphan boy Michale Gove , was too busy with his Creationists & News Corp friends & meetings to worry about an old comprehensive. Tut tut! 
Sadly with an Ashcroft MP as in Transport Secretary, representing Putney , we could not expect her support, but we have too many Millionaires and their friends making decisons , which were meant to be impartial & to be for the community at large & not this continuous self interest.
Once again Elliott School SW15 London ,  should have been saved re Playing Fields, as it was the wrong message for Wandsworth & their Indian Leader! who kisses too many bottoms of too many of Central Office contacts.
