We have had so much wasted newsprint about the virtues or not of the men who wish to be Labour leader but rarely do we see real critical comments about their compliant behaviour, with the many bad decisions made by Labour in the past 13 . Balls for example was happy to say like Ed Milliband how clever Brown was as Chancellor- but do we see the strange connection with knighting bankers like Sir Fred the Shred & how these Policies encouraged the instability of what transpired in 2007/8/09. Look at the reckless way the authorities let Northern Rock run its affairs- do not pretend the Treasury nor Bank of England were not aware but it was good for short term politics and profits!!
As for Foreign Policy- David Milliband has a nerve whether we are talking about Israel and the rotten behaviour or Georgia were he Had no real idea, or Russia or Iraq or Geo Political at all?
but only achievement was to be able to find the USA , so he could have a child ? Please we then Have Burnham , who whilst at health- we had one Hospital discuss having their A & E go private- we had surreal expansion of the private sector- in mental health and all over- with contractors from USA& Australia etc. As for mundane workforce the outsourcing became absurd- when just for simple driving patients - they would be customary using firms far afield, depending on who had the contract than rather what made economic sense- or like when The NHS Authority were selling surplus drugs - so to make short term quick profits thanks to exchange rate difference- even though next year they would be no doubt hurt! but who cares when the bonuses have already been paid!
Back to Ed Milliband- who wrote and devised the campaign- to now after the disaster - talk about fair taxes chasing the middle classes- more fair distribution etc - where was all this is the past 13 years when the country was on a strong trend of unfairness- they these same politicos did not listen/ did not care ---
Lets pray & hope that Diane Abbott will win- as she is the only sincere one out of a bunch of insincere politicians - the public has had enough!
As for Sep 1st also being the day we see the launch of Blair's book it should be a Black day for Labour at large - & remind us of , & depict the sleaze, quick term profit, the hypocrisy & the way Blair should have been challenged as leader much earlier if there was any real gumption at all inside the Labour Party!!
